Sometimes we get questions through email that may be relevant to you, so we include them here for reference.

Do you accept orders from California?

We accept out of state orders provided you ship them. Upon scanning we deliver electronic form of the document and you have a choice of either getting your originals shipped back via media mail USPS rate on smaller orders, or ground shipping fedex on larger orders (such as full banker box), or alternatively we can have a shredding truck come in and pulverize your documents free of charge on our next scheduled shred date.

How long does the process take after reciept of the documents?

Once we receive the documents, we will process them usually within one business day for orders up to a banker box. Please contact us for more accurate estimate, based on the number of boxes, and on our then current production. If there will be delay and we expect to see 2 business day turnaround we would inform you ahead of time. At this point we do have available capacity to process documents upon arrival. Current available capacity is approximately 250,000 pages per month.

How much does it cost?

The scanning fee is flat rate per document or file of up to 300 pages. If you have smaller documents (say about 50-100 pages) let us know so we can give you the appropriate pricing. Generally we do not combine and would not scan multiple documents as if it was one large document, but different people have different needs, we will work with you to make it happen.

Is it possible to break down the document into different pdf's?

Some of our clients use our document access system and have large documents devided in sections. They find it easy to locate specific pages of the document using sections. Since they are mostly title insurance companies they have a document ID search field, their documents are included in system with options such as left side, right side and entire document. This allows them to download part of the documents from search menu saving time. We also provide a quick preview feature that allow you to see small images of your document representing each page, with a single click you download a PDF of that single page almost immediately. Alternatively you can input page range to get a specific section of the document.
